Monday Kick(s) Off : 97 BATTLE

The Air Max 97 is a sneakerhead favorite. The Monster never had a pair though. It’s been widely publicized on this blog though, that blog reader SHOWTIME was the first dude on the block with these silver joints in 97. But, do you like the original silver ones, or the “gold medal” (which never panned out for Dan O’Brien) joints better?

Rarely do I do this. But this week, I’m going to have to PUSH. I really like them both equally as much.

Five For Friday : Mad Random NBA Player Mixes

Do you ever search YouTube for basketball highlight videos and come across one for a player you didn’t know had that many highlights? Or maybe they had highlights, but it was still unexpected someone would have taken the time to make a mix for them? A lot of times these are quality players, but they are just that. Quality Players. Not a guy whose gonna cross you up, step back, no look pass on you. Not a guy whose gonna YAM all up in your grill piece. This “Five For Friday” is dedicated to those players. They are the People’s Champs.  1 up top, 4 below the jump.

(Please note, I am not in any way insinuating that these are not good players. They all are. )
