I fucking love the new Black Keys album. It’s so dope. A lot of hardcore fans of them think it’s a little too polished than they are used too, but I enjoy it just as much as the other ones I have. Go pick it up.

Good to see that you’re a fan, I didn’t know this. I consider myself a pretty hardcore fan, and I think this album is badass. Yeah, maybe a little more polished, but that’s not a bad thing in my book. The lyrics have gotten better, and I think the overall tone is even more intense than their earlier stuff.
On a similar note, they’re playing at The Orange Peel (Asheville) in September. I’m going, if you and the crew want to roadtrip it with me.

Currently listening to their album “Rubber Factory” (2004). I go back and forth with this, but this may be my favorite one. If you want them at their most grittiest, bluesiest, and pure, I recommend giving this one a shot.
