Now I usually don’t post stuff showing my Heels getting punked, but I will this one time for 3 reasons:
1. This was requested by my man Showtime, who has a point with it. Childress does hold ACC Tournament scoring record, and the ACC tourney was this past weekend. He also holds record for 3′s in an ACC Tourney.
2. As a Heels fan, we didn’t have much to cheer about this year, or in the ACC Tourney, so this isn’t as painful to watch right now.
3. I’ll admit it, even though Jeff McInnis was looking fly in the Ice Blue Jordan X’s….he got done up hard in this clip.
Shouts to Randolph Childress, who always seemed to make the ACC Tourney his personal playground.
Also would like to give a shout to Justin Gainey, former NCSU Point Guard, who played in every minute of every game of the Tourney one year. State was in the play-in game (then there were only 9 teams in the league) and made it all the way to the Final. Gainey played every second. Still, clearly, a record, and pretty baller. Gainey is now a member of the NCSU staff.
Monsta- thanks for the post. Big ups to Gainey, what a great tournament he had that year and a great run fir the pack. They seem to always play better in the ACC tournament. (Les Robinson invitational is what we called the play in game)
what can I say about Childress. Great college player. Great tandem with Timmy.
