Those of you that know the Monster know that I love me some “Law & Order” and some “Law & Order SVU.” If there’s one thing all you L&O fans know out there, it’s that Jack McCoy and Mike Cutter def bring the hotties out for their ADA’s usually. I was watching an episode the other night and started wondering what happened to the past ADAs that sat second chair in the series. Well, now we are going to find out….
Richard Brooks as Paul Robinette
The First ADA, and only male in 20 seasons to hold the position. He was on from seasons 1-3. He still appears every now and then in episodes as a Defense attorney, etc. Also was in “The Crow: City of Angels.” Around 2000, he released an R&B album called “Smooth Love.” Sci-fi fans know him from his character in “Firefly,” but you can catch him in small roles all over the map. He last appeared on L&O as a defense attorney in 2006.
Jill Hennessy as Claire Kincaid
Above is how you would remember Hennessy from her L&O days. She played ADA for 3 years, and was actually killed off in her last episode by a drunk driver, as she drove Det Briscoe home from a bar. It was a pretty wylie ending to the episode as you can imagine. Since her L&O days, she played a medical examier in “Crossing Jordan,” has been in Broadway musicals, and as recently as 2007 played Tim Allen’s wife in “Wild Hogs.” In late 2007, she even got a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame. Check out the saucy more recent picture I found of her below…Sniggity:
Carey Lowell as Jamie Ross
Jamie Ross was ADA for a little over 2 years and ends up leaving to remarry and spend more time with her family. She also later reprises her role a couple of times, except as a defense attorney. Lowell was also the Bond Girl in 1989′s “License to Kill.” She also had a role in “Sleepless in Seattle.” After L&O, she was the trial judge in Law & Order : Trial ByJury, which despite the SVU and CI spinoffs, was not a success. She married Richard Gere in 2002, and most recently appeared in the film “Six Degrees” in 2007.
Angie Harmon as Abbie Carmichael
As you can see, Jack McCoy does not slack on his ADA biddies. Carmichael also had around a 3 year tenure. When she leaves the show, her character leaves to pursue a job at the US Attorney’s Office. Angie Harmon has appeared in numerous acting television jobs and films including “Baywatch” and “Lawn Dogs.” Post-L&O, she has appeared in such things as “Agent Cody Banks,” and “Endgame.” She also appeared in a few pilots for TV shows that didn’t quite make it. Since 2000, she has been married to former NFL star Jason Sehorn.
Elisabeth Rohm as Serena Southerlyn
Rohm is super hot. Keep it real. She was ADA for about 4 seasons on the show and left in the middle of Season 15. There was a little controversy when she left, as in the last episode she is in, you find out her character is a lesbian. After L&O, Rohm could be seen in “Miss Congeniality 2,” “The Mentalist,” and as recent as last week, an episode of “Heroes.”
Annie Parisse as Alexandra Borgia
Borgia was ADA for 2 seasons. She had actually appeared in a previous episode a few years before joining the cast as a stripper, though it was a different character obviously. Appearing in only 33 episodes, she was the shortest tenured ADA to date. She is found murdered in her last episode, bound, beaten and strangled, after dying by choking on her own vomit in a car trunk. Parisse guest starred on “Third Watch” and “Friends” and “As the World Turns” before her L&O days. Post her ADA role, she had small roles in “National Treasure,” “Monster-In-Law,” and “How to Lose A Guy In 10 Days.” She currently works in off-Broadway performances.
Alana de la Garza as Connie Rubirosa
The current ADA. You can find her on L&O right now.
UPDATE: Saucy picture as requested by Sliz in comments:
