Philthy Rich – I Represent It

PhilthyRichCover300

Philthy Rich (from Oakland, CA) has a new joint dropping on November 17th called “Funk or Die” and we have the video and the download available for you now! I’m really feeling the beat on this song, and “I Represent It” is a guaranteed banger if your from Oakland, and just a plain dope track if you’re not.

Also be sure to check out Philthy’s appearance on “Gang Wars: Oakland” from the Discovery Channel below:

Lawrence Taylor the BEAST

Seeing LT on the sidelines at last week’s FSU-UNC game made me want to look up some old footage of dude to just remember how nasty he was. I was not disappointed.

Rick Fox the Humanitarian

]

Check out Rick Fox a couple years back being swarmed by paps at Les Deux in LA. He straight up gives some dude hawking his CD $100 for it, even when the dude was only after $10. I thought that was pretty cool. Big Ups Rick!

Monday Kick(s) Off – Reebok Kamikaze

It was annouced last week (props to nicekicks.com) that Reebok has redone one of their classic bball kicks. The Reebok Kamikaze II was a pretty popular shoe, made more popular by the fact it was basically Shawn Kemp’s (though I don’t think it was an official signature shoe, he was the main one to wear it, and popularized it throughout 1996 and in teh famous ’96 Finals against the Bulls). Check out the Reebok Kamikaze II and the Kamikaze 2010 below to make your vote.

Below is the Reebok Kamikaze II:

This was a tough one for me. I think I’m going to go Kamikaze II, because I think the 2010′s are just a little too busy, though I do like their looks.

Secret Weapon – Must Be The Music

This is a classic jam, and a must have for every DJ. Old school baller shit right here. You’ve heard it, you just don’t know it. It’s also the tune that Deion Sanders pretty much jacked for his “Must Be the Money” song, so you’ve atleast heard the melodies. Perfect jam for a Friday afternoon. Crank this up and blast it!!!

Five For Friday – Paul Mooney

Paul Mooney is a really funny guy. You may recognize him from the “Chappelle Show” where he was Negrodamus and the guy from “Ask a Black Dude.” This week we got 5 hot videos of his stand-up, random comedy, etc.

Is it too soon to re-live Michael Jackson jokes? I hope not:

I KNOW OJ jokes are still allowed (This is the funniest one of the 5 in my opinion):

VIZIO Player Profiles – Adrian Peterson

Cool preview for the Vizio Player Profile series. You can check out the whole thing at www.VizioProfiles.com, and it features tons of other players (Aaaron Rodgers, Brian Urlacher, etc).

Dave Chappelle is back

Mr. Chappelle is back from hiatus and did some stand up at the Laugh Factory recently. Check out the segment above. Pretty damn funny!

The Police – Roxanne (Live 1979 Holland)

I know the Dutchman Stonewall Jackson is gonna love this post. Old footage of The Police doing Roxanne. Classic Ish!
